Overview

Moler insulating bricks

Moler insulating bricks made from what is called moler earth (also known as Kieselgur or Diatomiterde). This abrasive material is similar to Bimsstein, is very light and highly porous.

Products made from moler earth are used exclusively as rear insulation in industrial furnaces behind a refractory lining at a maximum temperature of up to 1.000°C. The bricks have excellent insulating properties, high mechanical stability and are lightweight.

Moler insulation bricks are used in the following industries: Nonferrous metal industry, iron and steel industry, industrial furnace building and combustion plants, energy production and rubbish combustion, cement industry and chalk industry as well as the foodstuffs industry.
